TL;DR
- The outing will be held at Antler Creek Golf Course in Falcon, Colorado.
- Cost is $76 to ride
- Course is really long with some long distances between holes. Riding strongly recommended but walking is possible.
- Tee times are 10:30, 10:40 and 10:50
- Fees must be paid to the outing coordinator by the 16 June RSVP date
- Anyone that says they're coming but ends up unable to attend will get a refund if the outing coordinator is notified by the RSVP date.

¶ Notes
Antler Creek Golf Course is a prairie dunes-style course with lots of open spaces, lots of hills/mounds bordering the holes, few trees and little water - basically, what you'd expect if someone routed a golf course in eastern Colorado. The League last played it in 2020 on a bitterly cold day, especially for June. Weather for this outing should be much more amenable.
The course was designed by Rick Phelps, the same designer as Pine Creek, Cheyenne Shadows, Saddle Rock, Meadows, Foothills and other courses the League has played and really enjoyed. This particular course features open fairways but long native grasses in the rough. As is the case with most Phelps courses, thinking one's way around and playing to safety is important to score well. Holes 9-11 are billed as the hardest 3 hole stretch in Colorado and they are indeed challenging, especially if one misses the fairways. There isn't a great deal of elevation change but the course was desgined to be long since it sits around 7000' in altitude. For many years, it was the longest course in the state of Colorado. Several of the holes also have a fair distance from the green to the next tee. Accordingly, while it is possible to walk (the outing coordinator has done it), riding is strongly recommended. Riding is included in the rate.
The restaurant has a varied menu (more than just sandiches) with reasonable prices and features some outdoor seating. The group will convene there after the round to swap stories and award prizes of any competition we have.

Our league uses 18Birdies to allow us to manage scores during and after a round. We can also communicate with one another before (to RSVP or ask questions), during (trash talk!) and after the round through the app, upload pictures of our outing and other good things. We can see an ongoing leaderboard of how our fellow members are doing. Oh, and just for keeping track of scores, it's free! We highly encourage it.
