¶ NOTES
Walking this course is possible, and several of us will do it, but there are lots of elevation changes on the front 9 and some considerable distances between some of the holes so be aware.
Pine Creek will only rent 2 carts per group. I've tried to group everyone in family/friend pairs. If you aren't comfortable, please let John Allen (john@zallen.org or 719-327-6349) know and we'll try to work something out.
The golf shop is open, as are the restaurant/bar at 100% capacity. Everyone can pay for their own round at the golf shop. Masks are required but can be removed once seated in the restaurant.
There is a driving range. It only has a dozen or so hitting areas, so come early if you want to hit some balls before your round. There is a practice chipping area and putting green.

¶ Competition Format
With all the new folks and divergent skill levels, we'll keep it simple and have just a par 3 contest. Participation is completely optional. If you choose to play, it will be a $10 buy-in. Closest to each pin will win 1/4 of the pot. For more information on how this kind of competition works, check out the Closest to the Pin competition format page. If you want to participate, please make sure you have something to write with (which you probably have anyway to mark your balls). John Allen will provide the paper markers.
¶ 18Birdies Tournament Information

Our league uses 18Birdies to allow us to manage scores during and after a round. We can also communicate with one another before (to RSVP or ask questions), during (trash talk!) and after the round through the app, upload pictures of our outing and other good things. We can see an ongoing leaderboard of how our fellow members are doing. Oh, and just for keeping track of scores, it's free! We highly encourage it.
