¶ NOTES
Universally, the 9 people that attended really enjoyed this course. We will definitely play it again. It's a challenging course (although Sam Califf's 79 says it wasn't tough for him) with lots of elevation changes. We had a 10-15 mph wind that made it a bit more challenging. However, the course is fair and interesting. It was also in great shape for April.
The golf shop is on the small side but was well stocked. The driving range is VERY nice for a public course. It has 30+ stations and we were allowed to hit off turf. The putting green is small and crowded so plan ahead for that for the future.
We all rode and it was a VERY good idea to have done so. The elevation changes alone would be brutal to walk but the distance between holes would make it miserable walking for all but the most determined. The carts were nice with video GPS, ability to order food, and other amenities seldom found on public courses in this price range. John and Todd rode together and their cart was a dud - VERY slow. Their playing partners, a nice couple named Same and Dawn Ferris, called into the golf shop and a replacement cart was brought to John and Todd within a few minutes.
No one in our group got food on the course. We did gather afterward on their comfortable patio with nice views to enjoy adult beverages and food. The food was standard stuff but was hot and tasty. The bar had a reasonably good selection. Service was friendly and reasonably fast. Sam and Dawn Ferris hung out with us after the round. They've been invited back and hopefully will join us in the future.
As can be seen from the foregoing, this was a great facility. Again, we'll definitely go back.
