Notes
A great time was had by all! We got rained on a couple of times but not enough to stop anyone from finishing their round. The price was fair. We got a $10 per person break because Julia and Will Martin are members. Without that break, it's still not too expensive ($65 for 18 riding).
Jerry's son Nicholas, his brother-in-law Ken and friend Rob joined members of the regular group. They're all not just good people but REALLY good golfers. It would be a pleasure to have them back any time!
Practice facilities at Antler Creek are nice. The range has several flags for targets. It's a little short, making it hard to gauge driver carries. The putting green is excellent. There is a nice chipping area, too.
The course was in good shape overall. The greens were a little bumpy making it a little hard to judge putts. The grass around the course was in great shape. Several of the group were playing it for the first time and universally said they'd play it again.
It's a long walk! It's the longest course in Colorado already but the distance between tee boxes and greens is also really long. John Allen walked it and enjoyed it. Fair warning to anyone thinking about it!
The clubhouse bar is nice. Service was a little slow but that's probably to have been expected with everything else going on in the world in 2020. We didn't experience the food. That'll have to wait until next time.
